Since 1950 there has been an antiques fair at the Old Town Hall, King’s Road, Chelsea in west London. This venue is the oldest surviving traditional London antiques fair. When it started there were only half a dozen such events throughout Britain. For well over half a century it has attracted visitors from all over the world. Today the bi-annual Chelsea Antiques Fair continues to see collectors and dealers coming together twice a year in this historic setting. The dates for 2016 are 17-20 March and 15-18 September. Well worth a visit and remember that Bourbon Hanby Arcade is just opposite, across the road at 151 Sydney Street.
