Silver Coffee Pot, London 1767


A beautiful George III coffee pot of baluster form, heavily chased and engraved with floral and country life designed on one side and a blank rocaille cartouche on the other. An ornate swan neck spout and a original shaped wood handle with thumb piece. The whole standing on a circular decorated foot. A rose on top of a decorated hinged lid. Hallmarked to the underside for London 1767 by Thomas Whipham & Charles Wright. Good condition for the age, just one small dent at the bottom.
